ABC Yoga: Stretch along with the alphabet! Maria Accardi, certified yoga instructor, will guide kids through poses and stretches on October 14th. Perfect for children 0-7 years of age. Registration is encouraged.


AfterSchool Tea: Wednesdays at the library, we'll have an hour of tea time for teens. We'll try new tea varieties, learn about tea culture around the world, and have special guests join us. All tea-making supplies will be provided, though you're welcome to bring your own tea and/or cup. Plus some tea snacks! Registration encouraged, though not required.

 

Basic Computer Skills Classes: The Millville Public Library will be hosting recurring 6-week computer class series. Topics such as Mouse & Typing skills, E-mail, Resume creation, and Online job searching will be covered. Classes are held on Mondays 5:30 - 7:30 PM, Wednesdays 10 AM - 12 PM, and Fridays 12 - 2 PM. Registration is required.

 

Board Meeting: Monthly Board Meeting for the Millville Public Library from 6:30pm to 8pm on the second Tuesday. (Public is welcome to attend.)

 

Family Craft Night: Families with children of all ages are invited to join us at the Millville Public Library for a fun family craft on October 17th. All materials will be provided, please wear clothes that can get messy. Registration is required.

 

Friends' Book Sale: The Millville Public Library Friends are holding a Book Sale on October 15th, from 10 AM to 1 PM.

 

HSE/ABE (High School Education/Adult Basic Education) Classes- Basement: HSE / ABE Classes are offered at the library during the week. Job Counseling: Looking for a new job? Looking for a change? Sign up for job counseling, which includes an interest & skills assessment as well as help with resume writing and interview skills. Appointments available October 3rd & 17th. Registration is required.

 

Lego Club: Lego Club, for grades K-8, is meeting October 4th, 6th, & 18th. Build themed Lego designs with family and friends. Registration is required.

 

Nutritional Snack Kit: Register each month to pick up a nutritional snack kit for kids and parents to make together! Kits will be available for those registered between October 25th-28th. You must register before the week that kits are distributed!

 

Plant Swap: Looking to offload some houseplants? Or maybe you want to grow your collection? Join us in the back parking lot for a houseplant swap on October 22nd! Call for more details.

 

Poetry Workshop: It's poetry night at the Millville Public Library! On October 19th we will host a Poetry Workshop for ages 18+, which will be facilitated by RG Evans, local author and poet.

 

RGB Club: A new space for 18+ LGBTQ+ folks and supporters to gather and learn through arts & culture. This month we'll meet on October 27th. Registration is required.

 

Story Time: Join us on October 7th & 21st for stories, songs, and other activities. Storytime is perfect for children 0-5 years of age. Registration is encouraged.

 

Tori's 13 Creepy Critters: Come see some creepy critters on October 13th. All ages are welcome and registration is encouraged.)
